As a kid, I used to always admire my dad’s cassette tapes. There were plenty lying around the house which led me to eventually unraveling [destroying] them but also creating rap songs and beats by recording myself layering sounds on my “Walkman” It was the beginning of my journey into tech.
Now, not to be too nostalgic but there was a cohesive sense of culture and unity around this time in the world and I believe this is why some of the greatest modern music was produced between 1970’s and early 2000’s—I’m talking classics that would listened to for centuries after. [You know] The songs we often hear over and over again in commercials, sports games, and so on.

Their drastically different styles represented the dawn of the modern age of computing, where graphics software was on the come up and the times were “pretty playful and bold” due to technological constraints many creators—from music, art, and film—aspired to break through. This era is what I call “The Goldilock’s Zone of Technology”.
